    6500 diverse job opportunities at 2018 Jobs Fair

     

    The 2018 Careers Exhibition, organized by Asharqia Chamber, will be held in partnership with Dhahran Expo under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, during the period 22-25 October 2018, in Dhahran Expo in Al-raka.

    There would be a large number of jobs with multiple options for job seekers amounted to 6,500 jobs.

    The exhibition offers opportunities for private sector institutions to attract hundreds of qualified national talents.

    It also opens the door to training institutions to provide services and offers in support of the development of the local human elements.

     

    For his part, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, said that a great effort is being made in preparation for the launch of the exhibition held on Dhahran Expo, with the active and positive participation of many companies and entities concerned with resettlement and training. More than 140 companies, institutions and government destinations are participating in the event.

    Al-Khalidi expressed optimism about the success of the exhibition in its next edition, which is held for the sixth consecutive time.

    He talked about the successes that took place last year after the exhibition in its fifth edition, where more than 20 thousand applicants visited, amid the great interest of participating companies and beneficiaries.

    The number of participants in the exhibition was about 138 companies and institutions provided more than 7 thousand jobs.

    This is in addition to the prominent participation of some prominent government bodies, including the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, Human Resources Development Fund, and Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage.

     

    Companies and institutions offer diverse job opportunities for job seekers, where the beneficiaries of the exhibition are required to register in the exhibition through an electronic platform for pre-registration in the exhibition.

     This feature allows the job seekers to enter the exhibition directly and move between companies and institutions exhibiting jobs without having to bring the CV, as all of his CV information will be pre-existing on the platform associated with all exhibitors.

    In this context, the Chairman of the Board of Directors Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar AlKhalidi, said that the Early Registration Service means that all information for applicants will be included in the database of participating companies directly, which enable them to select competencies and communicate directly with them without the need for paper handling.

     

    AlKhalidi pointed out that the exhibition will receive visitors for two periods as of Monday, October 22 (for male only) in the morning from 10.30 am to 2 pm, and in the evening from 4 pm to 8 pm; and on Tuesday, October 23 (for male only) in the morning from 10 am to 2 pm, and in the evening from 4 pm to 8 pm; and on Wednesday, October 24 (for male only) in the morning from 10 am to 2 pm, and in the evening from 4 pm to 8 pm.

    The exhibition will also welcome families visitors on Thursday 25 October in the morning from 10 am to 2 pm, and in the evening from 4 pm to 8 pm.

     

    For his part, Secretary-General of the Chamber Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabil said that the importance of the exhibition is reflected in three main areas. The first is the companies, which face some difficulties in attracting the national workforce, as they will find it at this exhibition. The second is the qualified youth with scientific and practical skills. The exhibition offers them several options for applying these skills and applying them within appropriate work ranges. And then the third and last party is represented in the intermediate institutions that conduct training, education and coordinate the relationship between the worker and the applicants, through the exhibition to provide all its services.

    The result is the achievement of communication between the three parties, which is reflected in the status of the local labor market, which is large and growing.

    Al-Wabil praised the great cooperation that exists between Asharqia Chamber on the one hand and the supporting and sponsor bodies and participation in the exhibition on the other.

    This cooperation has played a major role in the success of the past editions of the exhibition, which has contributed to providing employment opportunities for dozens of Saudi youth who are now at working sites.​
